How money works around here — or rather, how it doesn’t.
SwingFish is not a business
SwingFish does not engage in any business operation with the primary goal of generating profit. It is a non-profit community project. Full stop.
EnFoid Pte. Ltd. sponsors SwingFish by covering server infrastructure and other operating costs. This funding carries no influence over execution, design, content or any other decisions — all of which remain solely with SwingFish.
Contracts signed under the name SwingFish do not imply that business with EnFoid is being conducted. Any business services offered under the SwingFish domain are considered advertising only.
Revenue & donations
SwingFish offers a few ways for members to contribute financially:
- Donations — via PayPal, Ko-Fi, or Patreon
- YouTube Memberships — channel membership tiers
- Tool downloads — optional pay-what-you-want via Ko-Fi
- Broker referral commissions — when members sign up through our partner links
To be blunt: all of these combined don’t come anywhere close to covering the actual cost of running this. Server infrastructure, development time, data feeds, software licences, domain registrations — the monthly bill dwarfs whatever comes in through donations and memberships. This is not a revenue model. It’s people chipping in for coffee while someone else pays the rent.
All contributions are used exclusively to offset operating costs. In the event that contributions exceed expenses in any given period, the surplus is held in the EnFoid Lenders account #20 “SwingFish IB” at a 0.044% interest rate — deliberately negligible to avoid any conflict of interest. The money sits there until it’s needed for the next bill.

SwingFish provides opinions of individuals or a group of individuals:
- A peer community and a place where individuals can gain knowledge and motivation from the exchange of opinions and ideas.
- Text, video and audio materials for educational purposes only.

SwingFish is/does NOT and never will act as:
- Discretionary investment management service (DIMS)
- Independent trustee
- Managed investment scheme
- Market operator
- Bank (commercial or merchant)
- Finance company
- Insurance company or broker
- Securities and/or futures management
- Fund management
- Financial adviser
- Money or finance broker
- Money-changer
- Trust fund or trust company
- Payment systems or settlement processing provider
- Peer-to-peer lending service
- Qualifying financial entity
- Financial markets supervisor
